3:15-4:30 Art Adventure (with a drawing focus) for Grades K-3 (max 8 students)

Explore a wide range of 2-D art forms including paint, collage, printmaking and drawing. You’ll have fun learning basic drawing skills (including scale, symmetry and color theory) and incorporating them into a variety of innovative projects. Work with chalk pastels, oil pastels, markers, paint, color pencils and more in this energetic class!

TUESDAYS (8 weeks: April 18 – June 6)

3:15-4:30 Mini Masters for Grades 3-5 (max 8 students)

Famous artists have inspired other artists throughout the ages. Art by Picasso, Matisse, Monet, Klee and others will inspire original masterpieces of your own. You’ll use paint, charcoal, pastels, clay and more in this creative, fun and educational class.

WEDNESDAYS (8 weeks: April 19 – June 7)

3:15-4:30 Clay & Paper Mache for Grades K-5 (max 8 students)

Do you love to work with your hands? Learn hand building clay techniques such as slab work and pinch pots, then combine them to complete more advanced projects including rattles, bobble heads, masks and more.

You’ll also get to embrace the mess that is paper mache! Learn to design and build puppets and sculptures with this fun, versatile medium!

WEDNESDAYS (8 weeks: April 19 – June 7)

4:45-6:00 Middle School Drawing for Grades 6-8 (max 8 students)

Have you been drawing for a long time? Are you ready to take it to the next level? This class focuses on improving observational drawing skills and incorporating new techniques into your drawings. In addition to pencil, you’ll work with charcoal, pastels, color pencils and pens as you develop your own personal style.

THURSDAYS (8 weeks: April 20 – June 8)

3:15-4:30 Discover Art! for Grades K-3 (max 8 students)

Explore the many options this dynamic class has to offer! You’ll get a little bit of everything — drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, clay, paper mache and more! Fun projects might include clay animal bowls, recycled art sculptures, multi-media paintings or self-portraits. This is a great class to introduce your child to the wide world of art in a creative and exciting environment.

THURSDAYS (8 weeks: April 20 – June 8)

4:45-6:00 Drawing for Grades 4 & 5 (max 8 students)

Imaginative drawing is one of the cornerstones of every child’s creativity. In this class you’ll incorporate that favorite pastime and begin developing observational drawing skills. Explore and learn about perspective, color theory, shading and more. You’ll get to work with pencil, pen, color pencil, pastels and paint in this fun and engaging class.
