Spark After School classes just might be the best part of the day! Our small classes accommodate the interest of each individual artist while teaching valuable skills. Students have fun exploring, problem solving and creating on canvas, in clay and through drawing. We have a wide variety of classes to inspire all kids.

MONDAYS 7 weeks (Nov 26 – Jan 28. No class 12/ 17, 12/24, 12/31)
Push the boundaries of your imagination and discover the joys of creating 3 dimensional art. Explore the many properties of clay, paper, fabric and more and watch your art take on many forms.

TUESDAYS 7 weeks (Nov 27 – Jan 29. No class 12/ 18, 12/25, 1/1)

3:30 – 4:30  Adventures in Art (Grades K-3)


A little bit of this, a little bit of that. This class provides students the opportunity to work with a variety of mediums and explore new ideas. We’ll create fun 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional projects in an open and creative environment. Materials may include paint, collage, clay, reclaimed materials and more.

THURSDAYS 8 weeks (Nov 29 – Jan 31. No class 12/20, 12/26)

3:30 – 4:30  Fun with Faces (Grades 1-5)

In this class we’ll study masks, paintings, sculpture, history of the portrait, happy faces, sad faces, and silly faces, famous portraits, and the portrait as a form of self-expression. Projects include working with paper mache, clay, paint, oil pastels, and sewing.

THURSDAYS 8 weeks (Nov 29 – Jan 31. No class 12/20, 12/26)

4:45 – 6:00  Drawing for Grades 4-6

This class is designed to meet children at a variety of drawing levels. Confidence is built by practicing skills they know and developing new ones such as line, contour, shading, color theory and more. We’ll create both observational and imaginative drawings in fun and creative ways using a variety of mediums including pencils, pens, paint and pastels.
